Are you Baking with Your Kids this Holiday?

I still need to buy the brownie mix, peanut butter, and chocolate, but I am going to do some holiday baking with the kids this weekend.  My dad made peanut butter balls that he called "Buckeyes" every holiday, and I want to continue the baking tradition with my kids, but on a less-labor intensive scale.

On the way to school, my son informed me that he wanted to make fudge brownies with no peanut butter. Well, that certainly won't taste like the candy that I crave this year. I may have to make two types of brownies. Regardless, we are going to put on our aprons, and create some holiday baking memories.

As you know, I had the honor of being part of Chef Boyardee's virtual cookbook this year.  My daughter and I are featured in the book, and I helped write the section on "Cooking with Kids/Cooking Memories."  I will be joining the other talented authors on Thursday Dec. 6 for a Holiday chat.  I made this little card for the occasion.  You've got to click here to make the card move. TURN UP YOUR SPEAKERS.  It's hysterical. I laugh every time I see it. My husband does look like that in the kitchen. He's a good sport, isn't he?
